    I believe pansies were my Grandmother's favorite. At least, I saw them every time I went to visit it. This especially reminds me of her and Maine because it is a reminiscence of the Johnny Jump Ups. By the way, her name was Viola -- could that be the reason why she loved these? :-)

    I like the delicate purple shading on the petals, and the streaks radiating out fron the center tend to draw the viewer in.
