Interesting shot. I am curious to know what raptor is nesting over the lock, and whether the platform was put there intentionally.
ReplyDeleteThese are two young bald eagles, who were fledging on the day that this photo was taken through a digicam. The parents have been using this nest that they built for several years. This is the closest visitors can get to an eagle's nest East of the Mississippi River.
