A few years ago I moved back to the area where I grew up. I occassionally detour to drive by my childhood home. I always toy with the idea of leaving them a note in the mailbox, introducing myself, and asking if I could someday "revisit" my childhood home. Part of me wants to do it...and part of me wants to keep my memories just the way they are. Until I"m not in limbo anymore...I will just keep driving by :). Thanks for joining in at Song-ography.
What a great shot for the song! I've driven by my childhood homes sometimes - hard to accept the changes (good or bad) and let it go into someone else's hands.
I once went back to the house where I lived as a young child and was surprised at how small it was. In my memories it was huge, with giant trees on one side that turned out to be lilac bushes ... oh my, isn't it amazing how our young eyes beheld the world around us?
That is cool you get to see it.
